Fiberhex Carrier Class GPON/XGS-PON OLT
The LH4700 shelves simultaneously support multiple PON technologies and high-density point-to-point services. It is available in three size variants LH4701, LH4702, LH4706, LH4713 suitable for all types of fiber networks: from hundreds of subscribers on LH4701 to thousands of subscribers on LH4710. The LightHex OLT LH4700 gives you the flexibility to choose the fiber technology and deployment density that best suits your techno-economics, local regulations, and service offering.
The Fiberhex LightHex 4700 is a shelf-based, multi-card GPON/XGS-PON OLT. A variety of access equips it with XGS-PON and GPON optical-fibre access. Its dual nature supports conventional and virtualised operation on the same hardware, allowing operators to avoid an entire investment cycle when transforming their network towards software-defined, next-generation access.
Highly scalable, LH4700 OLT fits all deployment densities, from high-density urban to low-density rural areas, while its flexibility and a variety of shelves address all use cases in the broadband access.
Industry-leading temperature range from –40 °C to +65 °C makes LH4700 OLT ideal for deployment not only at central office, but also at less controlled remote locations such as street cabinets.
FIBERHEX LH4700 OLT provides GPON density: equipped with the top-of-the-line GPON Service card, up to 224 ports serve 28,672 users from a single shelf.
The LightHex LH4700 OLT is available in 13U with 14-slot, 6U with 7-slot ,2U with 2-solt and 1U shelves. A shelf hosts one or two MCU switching card and one or more access card, each connected with multi-10GE back- plane links.
LightHex LH4700 OLT excels in com- pactness: ETSI-compliant depth saves rack space (back-to-back mounting) or fits into street cabinets.
Enhanced network manageability, reliability and redundancy are supported with ring protection mechanisms and a hot-swappable redundant power supply. LightHex LH4700 OLT also supports multi-purpose access and aggregation PON Ethernet traffic at the same time.
