Fiberhex Carrier Class MSAN
The LH4800 shelves simultaneously support multiple access service technologies and high-density point-to-point services. It is available in two size variants LH4805 and LH4808 suitable for all types of copper networks: from 240 of VDSL subscribers on LH4805 to 480 of VSDL subscribers on LH4808. The LightHex MSAN LH4800 gives you the flexibility to choose the fiber and Cooper technology and deployment density that best suits your techno-economics, local regulations, and service offering.
The Fiberhex LightHex 4800 provides next generation VDSL2 DSLAM/MDU ONU features in a compact, hardened form-factor that makes it easy and cost-effective to deliver triple play services throughout serving area. Models are available with VDSL2 30a Ports. This Fiberhex LightHex 4800 family product is designed for easy configuration and management via built-in Web Graphical Interface. Its compact design allows easy deployment in remote cabinets and space constrained central offices. The Fiberhex LightHex 4800P offers two Fast/Gigabit Ethernet uplink interfaces that can be configured as linear, ring, or aggregated links. The Fiberhex LightHex 4800 VDSL2 solution offers full-rate VDSL2 30a performance for packet-based service delivery. This low-power, fully programmable, high performance solution enables service providers to cost-effectively generate additional revenue through their triple-play offering, including the different iterations of video services emerging in the marketplace. As an end-to-end solution, Fiberhex offers VDSL2 CPE and CO products to offer high-speed, long reach and low cost solutions for multi-tenant and multi-dwelling unit (MxU), remote terminal and CO deployments.
Highly scalable, LH4800 MSAN fits all deployment densities, from high-density urban to low-density rural areas, while its flexibility and a variety of shelves address all use cases in the broadband access.
Industry-leading temperature range from 0 °C to +65 °C makes LH4800 MSAN ideal for deployment not only at central office, but also at less controlled remote locations such as street cabinets.
FIBERHEX LH4800 MSAN provides GPON density: equipped with the top-of-the-line xDSL Service card, up to 512 ports serve users from a single shelf.
The LightHex LH4800 MSAN is available in 5U with 5-slot, 8U with 10-slot. A shelf hosts one or two MCU switching card and one or more access card, each connected with multi-10GE back- plane and E1 links.
Enhanced network manageability, reliability and redundancy are supported with ring protection mechanisms and a hot-swappable redundant power supply.
LightHex LH4800 MSANs supports a range of technologies such as GPON, VDSL2 with vectoring and voice which allows the service providers to offer highly competitive applications. LH4800 integrates GPON OLT, IP-DSLAM, Media Gateway together.
